Job summary

TMR Group Ltd, based in Birmingham, is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to join a fast-growing SME. You will lead financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, with direct exposure to the Board on strategic decisions.

The role offers a flexible hybrid working system, 25 days holiday (30 after 5 years) and staff discounts. Responsibilities include month-end close, balance sheets, cashflow, intercompany accounting, and ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting growth of a global

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
• Experience in the consumer/retail sector.
• ACCA/ACMA/ACA qualified.
• Proficient in Excel and financial software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and forecasts.
• Balance sheets, reconciliations and cashflow, credit control and payroll.
• Lead month-end and year-end processes with compliance.
• Inventory accounting and valuation, reporting accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and intercompany accounting.
• Partner with the Board on strategic financial decisions.

What will you do as a Financial Controller?

• Managing financial reporting, Budgeting & forecasting
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
• Balance Sheets, Reconciliations & Cashflow, Credit Control & Payroll
• Lead month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance

What do you need as a Financial Controller?

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller
