Job summary

TMRG in Birmingham is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to join a fast-growing consumer-led SME. You will influence strategy, systems and growth while ensuring robust financial controls and accuracy.

This is a hybrid role with appraisal of performance within a supportive leadership team. You will lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end processes, and partner with the Board on strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
• Experience with consumer/retailing.
• ACCA, ACMA ACA qualified.

Responsibilities

• Managing financial reporting, Budgeting & forecasting
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
• Balance Sheets, Reconciliations & Cashflow, Credit Control & Payroll
• Lead month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Inventory accounting & valuation, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment
• Prepare monthly financial statement, intercompany accounting
• Partner closely with the Board of Directors on strategic financial decisions

What will you do as a Financial Controller?
