Now Hiring: Finance Assistant

Leeds | Full-Time | Up to £35,000 DOE

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong academic background in finance or accounting, who is either part-qualified (PQ) or looking to progress their professional qualifications.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations, working hands-on across a variety of tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of Daily Sales Reports
• Management of Sales invoicing
• Calculation and communication of commission payments
• Cashflow management across multiple bank accounts
• Reconciliation of inter-company balances
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Assisting with annual audits.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings
• Work closely with the wider finance and operational teams to ensure seamless financial administration
• Carry out ad-hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks as required

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Finance & Accounting, or studying towards Accounting qualification (AAT or Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, advanced formulas)
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• A flexible and hands-on approach to work, with the willingness to support various finance activities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
