Sharp Consultancy are partnering with a highly successful and growing manufacturing company based in Chesterfield to appoint a Financial Accountant to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier looking to take the next step in their finance career with a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA – Part qualified or studier.

Responsibilities

• Accurate completion of month-end accounts.
• Liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee sales ledger, purchase ledger and cashbook.
• Process bank transactions and reconciliations.
• Post journals, accruals, prepayments and deferred income.
• Agree intercompany balances within the group.
• Manage forecast and budget submissions.
• Review and submit VAT returns.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Accurate completion of month-end accounts

• Post journals, accruals, prepayments and deferred income
• Agree intercompany balances within the group
• Manage forecast and budget submissions
• Review and submit statutory returns such as VAT returns
