Job summary

Pontoon is recruiting a Business Analyst/Customer Journey Manager to support a high‑profile Finance Transformation Programme. The role offers hybrid working, based in Bristol or Edinburgh, 2 days on site per week and the remainder remote, across a 6‑month contract.

You will lead discovery, map current and future processes, define requirements for planning, reporting and MI solutions, and collaborate with senior stakeholders, product and engineering teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

Experience delivering finance transformation or change programmes.
Strong planning, forecasting and management reporting knowledge.
Experience gathering and documenting complex requirements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience in agile environments with product, engineering and testing teams.
Ability to lead requirements activities independently.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery, analysis and design activities across finance transformation initiatives.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, finance teams, product owners, architects and SMEs.
Map current and future state processes to improve efficiency, controls and user experience.
Translate business requirements into customer journeys, features and user stories.
Define requirements for planning, reporting and management information solutions.
Work with engineering and data teams to shape target operating models and data processes.
Support delivery from requirements through testing and implementation.
Produce high-quality business documentation and process maps.
Drive alignment across transformation workstreams.
