Job summary

Data Careers Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Business Analyst for a 3‑month contract to support a major programme enhancing finance and go‑to‑market processes. The role sits at the intersection of Finance, GTM/Sales and IT, focusing on IFRS 15 revenue recognition and end‑to‑end sales configurations.

You will gather requirements, map processes, define functional specs and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver system and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering finance transformation or finance systems.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Sales/GTM processes and how these interact with Finance.
• Knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition, including the financial implications of sales contracts.
• Experience analysing and improving business processes across Finance, Sales and IT.
• Excellent requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
• Demonstrable experience engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong technical understanding of systems, integrations and data flows.
• Commercial awareness and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance, Sales/GTM and IT to map current processes and identify improvements.
• Support deal configuration and sales processes aligned with finance and revenue recognition.
• Analyse end-to-end sales processes and their financial implications.
• Document requirements via interviews, workshops and process maps.
• Define system integrations, data flows and opportunities for automation.
• Engage senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities across functions.
• Support testing and business readiness for system changes.
