Job summary

Reed are partnering with a Shrewsbury-based business to recruit a Transactional Finance Team Leader. You will manage 3 staff across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, driving KPIs and providing hands-on support during busy periods.

Working closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager, you'll assist with Month End and Year End activities and help maintain a collaborative, supportive team with a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small transactional accounts team.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and escalated queries.
• Experience supporting Month End and Year End reporting.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of 3 staff across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Provide hands-on support during high volumes and busy periods.
• Handle escalated queries confidently and professionally.
• Collaborate with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager on Month End and Year End activities.
