Job summary

Reed is seeking a highly capable finance professional to join a PE-backed financial services group in Birmingham during a period of expansion. The role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with a salary of £60,000-£65,000, on-site onboarding and a transition to 3-4 days per week in the office, supporting management accounts and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required or equivalent.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience within financial services, ideally IFA or wealth management.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and financial compliance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and reconciliations.
• Oversee payroll, supplier payments, invoicing and credit control.
• Ensure FCA compliance and financial controls.
• Liaise with auditors, accountants and external providers.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Support the Finance Director and senior leadership with financial planning and strategy.
