Job summary

Reed are partnering with a Shrewsbury-based business to recruit a Transactional Finance Team Leader. You will manage 3 staff across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, driving KPIs and providing hands-on support during busy periods.

Working closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager, you'll assist with Month End and Year End activities and help maintain a collaborative, supportive team with a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small transactional accounts team.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and escalated queries.
• Experience supporting Month End and Year End reporting.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of 3 staff across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Job Title: Transactional Finance Team Leader

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

We are currently recruiting for a brilliant Reed client based in Shrewsbury. This is a brand new role to the team and a truly exciting time to join the company as they are going from strength to strength! The Transactional Finance Team Leader will manage 3 members of staff day-to-day across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, handling KPIs, escalated queries and hands-on support. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a stable and fantastic business and stay with them for years to come!

Responsibilities Will Include

• Day-to-day management of 3 staff members spanning across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Provide hands-on support for extra training or periods of higher volumes to workloads.
• Confidently handle any escalated queries!
• Work closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager to support on queries to do with Month End and Year End accounts.

Ideally, You Will

• Have a strong background in Transactional Accounts in order to support the team with queries and training.
• Have experience working as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager where you have had direct reports in Transactional Accounts.
• Be a friendly and confident communicator, in this role you will communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business!
• Be willing to role your sleeves up and get involved, this is a close knit and collaborative environment where team work is celebrated!
