Job summary

AVEVA seeks a Finance Team Lead in Colombia (remote from Bogotá) to oversee day-to-day financial operations, month-/year-end close, and compliance for the Colombian entity. You will manage the local finance team and work closely with LATAM Finance Director and other global functions.

The role requires strong accounting, tax knowledge, and people management, with the ability to engage regional and global stakeholders in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification in Colombia is preferred.
• Experience with statutory audits and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of Colombian tax rules and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Colombia Finance team with clear objectives and accountability.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and month-/year-end close processes.
• Coordinate statutory accounting and liaise with external auditors and advisors.
• Manage tax compliance and tax-related accounting matters with internal/external teams.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain SOX-like controls where applicable.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, FP&A and regional teams on finance initiatives.
