Job summary

MHA is seeking a Finance Systems Lead in Derby hybrid role to balance BAU support with migration and transformation of Finance applications, interfaces, reporting and data flows. You will oversee legacy OpenAccounts, eBIS reporting and Caresys interfaces while guiding other key business applications.

You will report to the Systems Solutions Manager and work with internal stakeholders, delivery partners and suppliers to deliver robust finance solutions and improved data quality.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in supporting, administering and improving Finance systems in a complex organisation.
• Deep understanding of finance coding structures, chart of accounts, nominal ledger and reporting dimensions.
• Strong business systems analysis experience, including facilitating workshops and documenting requirements.
• End-to-end systems change experience from design through post-implementation support.
• Experience managing suppliers across defects, service requests, releases and escalations.
• Experience with financial reporting, data quality, migration, reconciliation, interfaces and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead second- and third-line support, resolving complex Finance systems incidents and configuration issues.
• Own and govern finance coding structures and general ledger configuration.
• Translate Finance requirements into robust business cases and system improvements via workshops and analysis.
• Drive supplier, release, change and testing activity across Finance systems, integrations and reporting.
• Support ERP transformation and migration from legacy systems to cloud, including design, configuration, parallel running and decommissioning.
• Support end-to-end data migration, including cleansing, mapping, validation and cutover readiness.
