The Role

The Finance Systems Manager will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the firm's finance systems.

• Lead a team of six to provide support for Finance and Risk departments
• Ensure system integrity and manage core data structures
• Assist in streamlining processes and improving accuracy
• Identify and agree on system changes and new features
• Participate in IT change control processes and monitor developments
• Work with with suppliers and external consultants for systems support
• Ensure compliance with SRA rules and accounting policies
• Help the Director of Finance and the Finance team with ad hoc requests
• Engage in routine project work for system developments and upgrades

The Candidate

The ideal Finance Systems Manager will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience managing a team of systems analysts in a legal practice
• Proficiency with Elite 3E and Intapp risk management solutions
• Strong data analysis skills, including advanced SQL and Excel
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
• Knowledge of finance procedures within a legal practice
• Staff management and project management skills
• Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
