Finance Reporting Manager, PE Backed Market Leader, Central London, 85k + bonus

I am working exclusively with a fast-growing, private equity-backed international R&D business with a strong global presence across 10 countries and approximately 15 entities. The business is driven by commercial innovation, with ambitious growth plans supported by recent strategic acquisitions.

This is a newly created Financial Reporting Manager role reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You will lead consolidated reporting and entity-level management accounts across the Group. Responsibilities include driving the month-end close process, delivering high-quality reporting packs with insightful commentary, supporting external audit activities, and leading a team of 4 qualified accountants.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the financial close process for each Group entity, ensuring adherence to IFRS reporting standards.
• Management of the global Chart of Accounts and dimension reporting fields.
• Overseeing the P&L reporting function at local and consolidated levels.
• Managing inputs to Balance Sheet reporting, including accruals and prepayments.
• Controlling capex spend, third-party software inputs, and depreciation/amortisation postings.
• Consolidating analytical queries and providing commentary for management accounts.
• Coordinating external audit requests and maintaining an approval flow for judgmental items.
• Contributing to continuous improvement within the finance function.
• Qualifications: ACA qualified accountant, ideally top 10.
• Post-qualified experience in a multi-entity, multinational environment.
• Proven team management skills.
• Confident, credible, with strong influencing skills.
• Comfortable in a high-paced, international setting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, with experience producing journals, balance sheets, and management accounts.
