This is a significant opportunity to oversee subsidiary reporting as part of our new global governance initiative, with development and career growth prospects limited only by your ambition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation and monitoring of the global governance framework for reporting;
2. Preparation of monthly accounting for trading P&L, especially financial instruments, in collaboration with the Technical Accounting team;
3. Monthly reporting of EU subsidiaries (future establishment plans);
4. Driving P&L and Balance Sheet reporting for month-end close (WD1-WD6), including management commentary for senior management;
5. Preparation of annual statutory accounts and coordination of external audits, leading on derivatives audits and disclosures;
6. Coaching and developing two direct reports;
7. Enhancing financial reporting processes and controls, partnering with internal audit for key control activities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in financial accounting/reporting;
• Experience with IFRS 9 financial instruments accounting.
