Senior Associate - Interim Qualified Finance

Cedar is currently partnered with a global financial services business to help them secure an interim Financial Reporting Manager. The role is to support the Director of Reporting and would be based in their office in The City. The position is a 6-month initial contract, with a salary range of £75,000 - £95,000.

The Role

As Reporting Manager, you will consolidate accounts under IFRS, oversee subsidiary reporting, enhance processes and controls, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and support integration of acquisitions. Responsibilities include supporting audits, financial reviews, and technical accounting.

• Prepare and deliver consolidated group accounts and financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, and FRS102.
• Oversee subsidiary financial statements audited globally, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Manage timelines for annual, interim, and quarterly reporting.
• Collaborate on technical accounting matters, including new standards and audit preparations.
• Enhance reporting processes, governance, and compliance with non-financial reporting obligations.
• Review legal entity financials and address auditor inquiries.
• Improve processes, integrate acquisitions, and strengthen financial controls across the finance team.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a fast-growth, acquisitive environment.
• Experience within a large, complex organization.
• Ability to handle multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Salary expectations of £75,000 - £95,000, aligning with your experience.
• Previous experience in financial services is advantageous.
