Job summary

hireful is recruiting a recent graduate to join the Finance Systems team on a 2-year fixed-term, hybrid role based in Liverpool city centre. You will gain hands-on experience in systems implementation, data validation, UAT, and process automation across the organisation.

Working in finance system enhancements, you will support requirements gathering, testing, and reporting while helping automate processes and maintain key finance reports, with some travel to regional offices as required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with hands-on experience in finance, PMO, or systems administration.
• AAT Level 3 or working towards a finance, business, or project management qualification.
• Strong IT literacy with aptitude for learning ERP/financial systems.

Recent graduate in Accounting and Finance, or Business and Project Management? Got a work placement or at least 1 year industry experience under your belt?

This 2-year fixed-term role is an outstanding development opportunity for an ambitious candidate with a background in Finance, Accounts, or PMO / Project Administration, to gain high-value experience in systems implementation and process improvement.

Working within the Finance Systems team, you will play a hands-on role in supporting finance system enhancements, user acceptance testing, data validation, and process automation across the organisation.

This hybrid role is working 2-4 days per week in the Liverpool city centre HQ and pays a salary of £30,594

What You ll Be Doing:

• Assist with finance systems projects, gathering business requirements, and maintaining risk logs, action tracking, and project plans.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system reconciliations, and financial data validation.
• Manage user access permissions, system workflows, and help maintain key finance reports.
• Document financial processes, identify opportunities for automation, and draft user training guides.

What We re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a relevant Finance, PMO, Project Support, or Systems Administration role.
• AAT Level 3 (or working towards a finance, business, or project management qualification).
• Strong IT literacy (Advanced Excel, Word, Teams) with an aptitude for learning new ERP/financial systems.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and great communication.
• Ability to travel periodically across to regional offices (Liverpool, St Helens, Warrington).
