Job summary

The Portfolio Group is seeking a qualified Finance Manager for a 12-month contract based in Liverpool with hybrid working. You will lead financial reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts and audits while developing the finance team across international entities.

You'll partner with Group Reporting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and external auditors, guiding technical accounting judgments and driving improvements in controls and processes, including finance transformation and ERP projects.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong experience across financial accounting, consolidation, statutory reporting and audit.
• Previous experience leading and developing finance teams.
• A good understanding of IFRS, financial controls and governance.
• Experience working across multiple entities or within a multinational environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence operating with senior finance teams.
• Experience delivering process improvement, finance transformation or systems projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• SAP and/or HFM/Hyperion experience would be advantageous.

Finance Manager

We're supporting a global organisation with the appointment of a Finance Manager on a 12-month contract. This is a broad finance leadership role with responsibility across financial reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts, controls and audit, alongside the leadership and development of an established finance team.

The role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and involvement in a number of significant finance transformation and systems programmes.

The role

You'll take ownership of key elements of the financial reporting cycle, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely delivery across a portfolio of international entities. You'll also work closely with Group Reporting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and external auditors, acting as a trusted point of contact on accounting and reporting matters.

What we're looking for

You'll bring:
