Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust in Lancaster is offering a Band 3 apprenticeship within the finance team. The 18-month training role is paid under Annex 21 and includes on-the-job learning while studying for a nationally recognised qualification.

You will assist with administration, data input and stakeholder liaison, working full-time (37.5 hours/week). Closing date 19 November 2026.

Qualifications

• At least 3 A Levels or BTech/T Level Business or equivalent experience.
• European Computer Driving License or equivalent standard IT skills qualification.
• Microsoft Office Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the finance team with administration, data input, contacting and supporting stakeholders.
• Provide contact points for all stakeholders and potential stakeholders of the finance department as well as colleagues within the trust and OneLSC.
• Ensure all aspects of administration are accurate and kept up to date, strictly in line with department procedure.
• Must attend any training associated with the apprenticeship programme and complete units within deadlines as applicable and
• To be committed in completing the training and completing the 18 month programm.
