Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence in Frimley is seeking a Finance Business Partner – Bid and Pricing Manager to drive financial leadership across bid opportunities. The role reports to the Head of Finance – Business Development, with a global remit to influence key decisions and improve profitability.

You will be commercially astute, able to handle ambiguity, and build trusted stakeholder relationships across cultures and time zones while delivering on business obligations and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or in training to become one.
• Interest in bidding and pricing processes.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Commercial acumen with a proactive mindset for development.

Responsibilities

• Owning financial ownership of assigned bid opportunities throughout the bid lifecycle to bid submission.
• Presenting timely, accurate and complex financial information to stakeholders.
• Completing bid pricing templates accurately within deadlines.
• Developing expertise in pricing models.
• Gathering competitor data (rates, price) to support bid decisions.
• Understanding the bid governance process per BAE policy.
• Collaborating with finance teams to ensure target profitability.
• Supporting process improvements in bid and project management.
• Delivering insightful management information as required.
• Understanding overheads and recovery methods and their role in profitability.
