Qualifications

  • Strong experience managing accounts payable and confident working with accounts receivable.
  • Experience across multiple legal entities and understanding intercompany transactions.
  • Familiar with balance sheet ownership, particularly in relation to accruals and prepayments.

The Role

You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable (AP) process across multiple entities and currencies, while also providing hands-on support for Accounts Receivable (AR), internal reporting, and finance-led projects. This is a dynamic and varied role with a high level of autonomy and ownership, providing a strong platform for progression within the finance function.


You’ll bring rigour and structure to operational finance, ensuring accuracy in financial data, streamlining processes, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. You will work closely with the Finance Operations Manager to maintain financial control and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Your key responsibilities



  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process by processing and reviewing supplier and contractor invoices, ensuring timely approvals, and preparing weekly payment runs across multiple entities and currencies.

  • Oversee accounts payable inboxes by ensuring timely responses, resolution of queries, and accurate documentation for audit trails.

  • Assist with issuing customer invoices, allocating incoming payments, chasing outstanding debts, and maintaining debtor reporting.

  • Assist with monthly close activities by preparing and posting journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and FX revaluations; support balance sheet reconciliations and suspense account reviews.

  • Manage credit card reconciliations across multiple departments, ensuring timely capture of spend and accurate coding of expenses.

  • Collaborate with the finance team on strategic initiatives such as automation of AP processes, implementation of new systems, and finance transformation projects.

  • Support the preparation of internal financial reports, variance analysis, and audit schedules as required by the Finance Operations Manager.

  • Maintain intercompany postings and reconciliations across entities, supporting group-level consolidation and internal reporting requirements

  • Build effective relationships across teams and with vendors to resolve queries and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Provide general finance support to the wider team, including audit support and ad hoc data analysis.


We’re looking for…



  • Strong experience managing accounts payable and confident working with accounts receivable.

  • Someone who has previously worked across multiple legal entities and understands intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to financial processes.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, especially when working with high volumes.

  • Someone who communicates effectively and works collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Someone who is familiar with balance sheet ownership, particularly in relation to accruals, prepayments, and credit card liabilities.

  • Initiative to identify areas for improvement and help drive system or process enhancements.


It would be a bonus if…



  • You have experience in the iGaming, digital, or technology sectors.

  • You have worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms.

  • You have participated in or led finance system upgrades, automation initiatives, or finance-related projects.

  • You have exposure to AI tools used in invoice recognition or finance automation.
