Description

We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our growing Finance team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role involves supporting the team, the wider business, and our customers.

Our Finance team prides itself on excellence and providing top-tier service to customers, suppliers, and other teams at Tillo.

This position is based in our Hove office, requiring presence 2 days a week.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

The Finance Assistant will play a key role in building a robust finance team capable of supporting a fast-growing FinTech business focused on excellence and service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Production of sales invoices and credit control in key client accounts
  2. Onboarding new customers and resolving queries
  3. Preparation of bank and supplier reconciliations
  4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
  5. Assisting in month-end accounting entries
  6. Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and reporting
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree qualification or relevant experience in finance
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible and proactive attitude
  • Committed to personal and team development
Preferred but Not Essential
  • Studying for an accountancy qualification
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
