Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is seeking a Finance Officer to join a well-known housing association at their head office in Birkenhead, Wirral. This permanent, full-time position involves managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts and payroll systems while producing accurate financial reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Finance or Accounts Assistant role and a working knowledge of financial systems. You will provide support for financial data management and help with tax issues related to external organizations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Finance or Accounts Assistant/Officer role.
• Working knowledge of financial systems.
• Ideally have previous experience in supporting a finance or accounts team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the day to day running of the Accounts system.
• Administer payroll on behalf of external organizations.
• Liaise with HMRC and submit monthly information.
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
• Produce quarterly financial reports.
