Job summary

VanRath is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee a small finance team and take responsibility for all financial reporting, forecasting, and cash management. The role offers hybrid working and close collaboration with senior leadership to drive strategic growth within a well-known Third Sector organisation.

Interviewing immediately for a candidate who is ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior management.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience leading small finance teams.
• Experience in the Third Sector beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail in day-to-day tasks.
• Excellent communication with senior management.
• Available at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Take ultimate responsibility for all financial reporting and compliance.
• Oversee and support a team of 2 junior staff members.
• Manage month-end, year-end, and forecasting processes.
• Assist the director with strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Ensure effective internal controls and process improvements.
