Job summary

Liberty Group is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial reporting and business partnering across the organisation. You will manage monthly accounts, P&L and balance sheets, deliver timely reporting, and drive improvements while supporting budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant with 3+ years post-qualification experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a small finance team in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in both Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.
• Experience managing profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Experience supporting and managing external audits.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work proactively without close supervision.

Finance Manager

Salary: £49,000 - £55,000 per annum
Location: Charley Wood Road (Hybrid working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of monthly management accounts, profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. We are looking for a qualified accountant who is confident working independently and can manage competing priorities effectively.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in both Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.
• Experience managing profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Experience supporting and managing external audits.

Desirable Experience

• Previous people management experience.
• Experience working within a fast-paced, profit-driven commercial environment.
• Experience with COINS or similar ERP systems.
• Strong business partnering experience with non-finance stakeholders.
