Job summary

Blue Arrow Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to join a busy finance team in Blaenavon. The role offers a competitive salary and permanent, office-based employment with opportunities for progression.

You will take ownership of key financial processes, deliver monthly management accounts, and provide insightful financial analysis to support senior management decisions. Sage 50 experience and strong accounting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• AAT/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification (or qualified by experience)
• Experience as Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Company Accountant
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and reporting standards
• Experience using Sage 50
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a management team

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Produce P&L analysis and financial reporting
• Prepare budgets and variance reports
• Manage cash flow and forecasting
• Handle VAT returns and financial compliance
• Manage AP/AR functions
• Oversee credit control and debtor management
• Maintain general ledger and perform bank reconciliations
• Process payroll
• Prepare supplier and contractor payment runs
• Provide financial reporting and insights to support business performance
