Job summary

Harvey John is recruiting for a newly created Finance Manager role in a small high-performing team of 4. You will report to a supportive Financial Controller and take ownership of management reporting, payroll, VAT and year-end activities.

The successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA-qualified or qualified by experience, comfortable with multi-entity and multi-currency transactions, and able to manage end-to-end payroll in an SME.

Qualifications

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or "qualified by experience" with substantial experience of a similar position.
• Comfortable within a multi-entity international environment, with multi-currency transactions (highly desirable)
• Confident in VAT returns (ideally with overseas VAT exposure too)
• Comfortable managing the end to end Payroll process within an SME environment

Responsibilities

• Management reporting
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations (inclusive of intercompany and multi currency transactions)
• Supporting Payables and Receivables activity
• VAT returns, both UK and international
• Management of company Payroll on an end to end basis
• Supporting with year-end activities
