Marks Sattin is recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business for an experienced Finance Manager. You will own day-to-day finance activities and support management reporting, reporting to the Managing Director.
You will lead purchasing and sales ledgers, payroll, budgeting, VAT, cashflow, and year-end processes, with opportunities to influence the finance function and develop your career in a hands-on SME environment.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance activities while supporting management reporting and commercial decision-making.
Managing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
Processing weekly and monthly payroll.
Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
Preparing VAT returns and managing CIS requirements.
Completing bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
Supporting year-end accounts and improving financial processes.
Previous experience in a varied finance or accounts role.
Experience with payroll and management accounts.
Good understanding of VAT, reconciliations and financial controls.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Confident working independently in a hands-on role.
AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience would be advantageous.
Experience with SAP, BrightPay or within an SME environment would be beneficial.
