Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a Hampshire-based business to recruit a Finance Manager. This hands-on role leads the finance function across multiple entities, delivering high-quality management information and supporting strategic decisions.

You will work closely with the SLT to enhance reporting, controls and processes. You will own the month-end cycle, group reporting, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, while overseeing treasury activities and VAT considerations.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across management accounts, year-end and multi-entity reporting
• Excellent cash flow forecasting and treasury management capabilities
• Confident communicator with ability to build relationships across teams

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts with detailed analysis and commentary
• Own month-end processes and ensure timely financial reporting across entities
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and fixed assets
• Deliver group reporting including consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
• Oversee treasury activities, banking relationships and working capital
• Prepare VAT returns and support year-end statutory accounts and audits

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Hampshire-based business to recruit a Finance Manager.This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional seeking a broad, hands-on role within a multi-entity environment, where youcan genuinely influence reporting, controls, commercial insight and process improvement.Working closely with the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function's day-to-day operations, delivering high-quality management information, overseeing group reporting processes and supporting strategic decision-making across the wider business.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Production of monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis and commentary on performance
• Ownership of month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and fixed asset accounting
• Delivery of group reporting, including consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Management of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting processes
• Oversight of treasury activities, banking relationships and working capital management
• Preparation of VAT returns and support with year-end statutory accounts and audit requirements

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
