Job summary

Resourcery Group Limited is seeking an experienced finance professional to join a fast-growing business in a newly created role reporting to the Finance Director. You will lead a small but capable team while driving process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.

The role involves overseeing end-to-end monthly management accounts, VAT submissions, and close collaboration with Ops to deliver timely, reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate is a CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with experience in management accounts.
• Experience leading a small finance team and coordinating with Ops and FP&A.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small team responsible for Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Management Accounts.
• Produce end-to-end monthly management accounts.
• Collaborate with Ops teams to identify needs and streamline processes.
• Take responsibility for VAT submissions.
• Act as escalation point for vendor queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of reporting.

Job description

An opportunity to join a fast growing, international business in a newly created role. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will have a broad set of responsibilities overseeing a small but able team, whilst continuing to improve existing processes with aim to become more efficient.

• Staff management of 2 across Accounts Payable, Credit Control & Management Accounts (PQ)
• Oversee the production of end to end monthly management accounts
• Working closely with Ops teams to understand ongoing needs and develop processes accordingly
• Take responsibility for VAT submissions
• Act as an escalation point for all vendor queries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Continuous development and improvement of processes
• Assist the Finance Director during quarterly reporting deadlines
• Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure data and performance is distributed internally efficiently

Ideally suited to a CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant, experienced within Management Accounts looking to step in to a more management level role.
