Job summary

Harvey John is seeking a Finance Manager to join our small but high-performing team in Redhill, offering hybrid working. You will lead management reporting, oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and manage end-to-end payroll within an SME and multi-entity international environment.

The role requires professional qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or qualified by experience) and strong VAT experience, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity international environment.
• Confident with VAT returns (UK and international).
• Experience managing end-to-end payroll in an SME environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small and highly performing finance team of 4, in a growing organisation.

You will be reporting into a superb, qualified and supportive Financial Controller, in what is a newly created role.

Your focus will be…

• Management reporting
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations (inclusive of intercompany and multi currency transactions)
• Supporting Payables and Receivables acitivities
• VAT returns, both UK and international
• Management of company Payroll on an end to end basis
• Supporting with year-end activities

The ideal candidate for this role, will be…

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)- or will “qualified by experience” with substantial experience of a similar position
• Comfortable within a multi-entity international environment
• Confident in VAT returns (ideally with overseas VAT exposure too- but this is not essential)
• Comfortable managing the end to end Payroll process within an SME environment
