Heap & Co - Accountancy & Finance Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Finance Manager for a manufacturing SME in Haverhill. The role leads the finance function, providing high-quality financial insight and reporting to support the senior leadership team.

You will be responsible for financial control, commercial analysis, process improvement and team leadership, with the opportunity to shape business performance and stakeholder reporting.

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Strong management accounting, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment advantageous.
• Hands-on SME environment experience.
• ERP systems knowledge with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Leadership and team management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Delivering insightful management information and financial analysis.
• Costing and variance analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Ownership of month-end and year-end processes.
• Supporting external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Developing financial controls, systems, and processes.
• Partnering with operational teams to improve business performance.
• Managing and developing a small finance team.
