Accountable Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified Management Accountant in the Liverpool area to join the senior leadership team and work directly with the Finance Director. The role combines hands-on financial control with strategic input and strong commercial insight to drive performance.

You will own the monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, while leading month-end close, stock reporting and KPI analysis to support operational decisions and growth.

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong management accounting, financial control and business partnering capability.
• Experience in stock accounting, standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decisions.
• Proven leadership with mentoring experience.

Responsabilidades

• Production of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Lead month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join its senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a hands-on role offering significant exposure to strategic decision-making while retaining responsibility for the day-to-day finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening controls, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the Management Accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while providing commercial insight to support operational and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Leading month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Analysis of product profitability, manufacturing costs and gross margins.
• Ownership of stock accounting, inventory reporting and working capital management.
• Providing meaningful KPI reporting and commercial analysis to support business performance.

The Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - essential.
• Previous within a manufacturing environment - essential.
