Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a global business to recruit a Finance Manager - Group Stock & Margin. The role leads transformation of stock and margin accounting and delivers monthly reporting on gross margin and stock valuation.

You will mentor one direct report, maintain financial controls across global inventory, and drive continuous improvement with stakeholders. Hybrid working is offered with 3 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with experience in Retail or Manufacturing.
• Stock and Margin accounting experience and solid costing knowledge are key requirements.
• Track record of delivering improvements and working collaboratively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation and improvement of stock and margin accounting.
• Maintain financial control and accurate valuation of global stock.
• Control and reporting of global gross margin and stock movements.
• Deliver monthly reporting explaining gross margin relative to budget, forecast and prior year.
