Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a global business to recruit a Finance Manager – Group Stock & Margin. This is a key role in a high performing finance team, leading transformation and improvement of stock and margin accounting.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience in Retail or Manufacturing, and a track record of delivering improvements while working with key stakeholders. Hybrid working is offered, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with experience in Retail or Manufacturing.
• Stock and Margin accounting experience and costings knowledge.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering improvements and working with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation and improvement of stock and margin accounting.
• Mentor one direct report.
• Maintain global stock valuation and financial control.
• Control and report global gross margin including profit in stock.
• Develop Group inventory policy.
• Deliver monthly reports on gross margin vs budget/forecast/prior year.
• Collaborate with Finance team to set budgets and forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement in high-value stock movements.
