Job description

Join to apply for the Finance Manager (FTC) role at The Walt Disney Company.

This is a Fixed Term Contract from June to November 2025. The role is office-based with a schedule of 3 days in the Holborn, London office, 1 day in Hammersmith, London, and 1 day remote.

The Stage Plays team manages productions across EMEA, including The Lion King London, Hercules London, The Greatest Showman in Bristol, Disney Tickets, Disney on Ice, and Feld Entertainments licensed content.

The role involves supporting the delivery of accurate forecasts, year-end processes, and theatre finance activities, collaborating with financial and non-financial partners, managing budgets, and identifying process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in weekly show payroll processes.
  • Manage financial planning cycles, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Oversee weekly Theatre Settlements for Lion King and Hercules London, with process improvements.
  • Support production budgets and cost tracking.
  • Review purchase orders and travel costs.
  • Analyze financial terms, fixed fees, and royalties.
  • Propose process and system improvements.
  • Lead projects to enhance business processes or systems.

Business Partnering:

  • Create financial presentations for stakeholders.
  • Build relationships to influence business decisions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Accounting qualification required.
  • Experience supporting commercial management and working with regional finance teams.
  • Team management experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office, and financial software.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
