What you'll be doing:
As a Finance Manager Projects, you'll develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making. You'll handle project financing and structuring to create viable, fundable projects aligned with stakeholder interests. You'll collaborate across departments to provide insights that drive financial performance and growth.

  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
  • Review and interpret complex financial models
  • Understand project finance and fund growth projects within IWE
  • Assess project risks and stakeholder risk allocation
  • Create and update cash flow and working capital models
  • Perform sensitivity analyses and stress tests
  • Support evaluation of investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, including financial due diligence
  • Lead projects through development cycles, developing valuation models up to £50 million
  • Collaborate with teams to gather data and validate assumptions
  • Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related; MBA or relevant master's preferred (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, understanding off-balance sheet structuring
  • Experience in financial modelling and analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and best practices in financial modelling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with large datasets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financing instruments (debt, equity, etc.)
  • Understanding key financial metrics and ratios
  • Familiarity with funding sources and financial regulations (IFRS, UK GAAP)
