Marks Sattin are partnering with a well-established organisation in West Yorkshire to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on an initial 6-9 month fixed-term contract.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a business during a period of growth and organisational change. The successful candidate will provide continuity across the finance function, support year-end activities, and play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA).
• Several years' post-qualified experience in a Finance Manager or similar position.
• Experience in managing cashflow, treasury and working capital.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end management accounts and board reporting.
• Prepare financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage cashflow forecasting, banking relationships and funding facilities.
• Oversee billing, invoicing and working capital management.
• Prepare VAT returns and wider compliance reporting.
• Act as a key finance contact for major external stakeholders.
• Monitor capital expenditure and asset performance; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function.

Marks Sattin are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in West Yorkshire to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on an initial 6-9 month fixed-term contract.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a business during a period of growth and organisational change. The successful candidate will provide continuity across the finance function, support year-end activities, and play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of the month-end management accounts & board reporting.
• Preparation of financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Management of cashflow forecasting, banking relationships and funding facilities.

• Oversight of billing, invoicing and working capital management.
• Preparation of VAT returns and wider compliance reporting.
• Acting as a key finance contact for major external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on capital expenditure and asset performance
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
• Managing and developing a part-qualified member of the finance team.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function.

• Supporting the business through a period of change and transition.

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Several years' post-qualified experience in a Finance Manager or similar position.
• Strong management accounting and financial control experience.
• Experience managing cashflow, treasury and working capital.
• Comfortable operating in a changing and evolving environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand a business and apply sound financial principles.
• Experience overseeing fixed assets and capital expenditure would be advantageous.
• Previous team management experience preferred.
