Job summary

Marks Sattin Ltd is recruiting a Finance Manager to join a fast-growing transport organisation based just outside Manchester city centre.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with SME experience, strong data interpretation, Advanced Excel, and a capability to deliver insightful reports including month-end and P&L analysis.

Role - Finance Manager Location - Manchester Salary - £60,000 to £70,000

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing transport organisation in their search for a Finance Manager to work out of their office based just outside Manchester city centre.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and have previous experience of working within a SME organisation. An ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver impactful insights is essential. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to Power BI would be a distinct advantage. The Finance Manager will need to be able to develop strong relationships throughout the business and will also have an involvement in the month-end process. Key duties for the Finance Manager role will involve:

• Month-end accounting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Review of business cases
• P & L analysis
• Strategic financial planning
• Lead on continuous improvement - look at improving processes and systems
• Build strong relationships with the senior management team
• Identify risks and opportunities

Salary for the role is between £60,000 and £70,000
