Marks Sattin Ltd in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Finance Manager on an initial 6-9 month fixed-term contract with the potential to go permanent. Hybrid working is available and the role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 plus benefits.

You will own month-end management accounts, board reporting, cashflow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations while supporting budgeting, VAT returns and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Several years' post-qualified experience in a Finance Manager or similar position.
• Strong management accounting and financial control experience.
• Experience managing cashflow, treasury and working capital.
• Comfortable operating in a changing and evolving environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand a business and apply sound financial principles.
• Experience overseeing fixed assets and capital expenditure would be advantageous.
• Previous team management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ownership of the month-end management accounts & board reporting.
• Preparation of financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Management of cashflow forecasting, banking relationships and funding facilities.
• Oversight of billing, invoicing and working capital management.
• Preparation of VAT returns and wider compliance reporting.
• Acting as a key finance contact for major external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on capital expenditure and asset performance.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
• Managing and developing a part-qualified member of the finance team.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function.
• Supporting the business through a period of change and transition.
