Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Finance Manager for a respected organisation in Brighton. You will take ownership of monthly management accounts, liaise with external auditors, and manage fixed assets and VAT compliance.

This high-visibility role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional with ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and strong financial control mindset, reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience producing end-to-end monthly management accounts.
• Experience liaising with external auditors.
• Strong understanding of fixed assets and VAT compliance.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Produce full monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and commentary.
• Act as primary audit contact, preparing schedules and resolving queries.
• Maintain and control the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Manage VAT returns, reconciliations and compliance.
• Strengthen financial controls and drive improvements across month-end processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial insight.
