Job summary

Vanrath partners with a leading care and hospitality organisation in Belfast to recruit a Finance Manager who will oversee financial management across the hospitality arm and drive commercial performance.

You will lead a finance team, deliver accurate management accounts, provide strategic insight to the General Manager, and implement robust financial controls to support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant finance experience in hospitality or care sectors.
• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience in financial control and management reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead and develop finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial management of the hospitality business with timely management accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across operations.
• Develop robust financial controls, cash flow, payables and receivables.

• Drive improvements in reporting systems and processes for accuracy.

About you

• Highly experienced finance professional with at least 5 years' relevant experience
• Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in financial control and management reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams
• Good understanding of hospitality operations and finance preferred
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

What you'll do

• Lead the financial management of the hospitality business, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts and insightful financial analysis
• Support the operational teams with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to meet revenue and profit targets
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls, overseeing cash flow, accounts payable, receivable, and compliance
• Act as a trusted business partner to the General Manager and management team, providing ongoing financial insight into performance metrics such as RevPAR, ADR, and departmental profitability
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
