Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a leading Northern Ireland-based engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Finance Manager for their Dungannon site. The role reports to the Financial Controller and leads a growing finance team, ensuring timely month-end close and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is ACA/CIMA/ACCA‑qualified with at least 3 years in manufacturing, strong financial modelling skills, and a track record of managing staff under pressure.

• 3+ years of manufacturing industry experience
• ACA, CIMA or ACCA equivalent qualification
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Experience managing a team
• Ability to work overtime and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare month end accounts for group companies with a 5 day close
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and P&L review against budget
• Liaise with external auditors and financial institutions
• Own balance sheet metrics and maintain budgeted key ratios
• Lead and develop the finance team to drive performance

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Preparation of month end accounts for group companies within a 5 day close.
• Clear balance sheet reconciliations and P&L review against budget within timeframe
• Liaising with external auditors and financial institutions
• Balance sheet ownership to maintain budgeted key ratios
• Manage finance team direct reports and act as an example to train and push forward team performance

The Person:

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA equivalent qualified
• 3 years+ manufacturing industry experience essential
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Previous experience managing a team
• The ability to work overtime if required and manage workload under tight deadlines
