Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group are currently partnering with a dynamic SME based in Verwood to recruit a Finance Manager who will own the finance function and drive planning, reporting and strategy.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, build strong banking relationships, and support compliance and process improvements across the business with opportunities for professional development and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance within an SME environment and managing forecasting and cash flow.
• Strong communication skills with banks and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Acting as a key point of contact with banking partners, ensuring efficient management of foreign exchange and banking relations.
• Leading the monthly financial close process and providing accurate reports to senior management.
• Supporting the business with compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements, whilst also identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborating closely with operational teams to provide financial insights and support business growth objectives.
• Taking ownership of the finance operations, enabling the business to operate smoothly and efficiently with minimal oversight.
