Job description

Join to apply for the Finance Manager role at Polyseed SSD Sdn Bhd.

Robertson Recruitment is working with a manufacturing company based in NG17 to find a finance manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The candidate will oversee the company's financial operations and report directly to the managing director. This is a hands-on role requiring independence and proactive work.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 4:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Manage all day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and payroll.
  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Liaise with UK external accountants for finalising year-end accounts.
  • Identify areas for financial improvement and risk reduction.
  • Provide regular financial updates and insights directly to the Managing Director.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 35+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Odoo (advantageous).
  • Highly proactive, confident, and capable of using initiative in decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax, and year-end procedures.
