Job summary

A prestigious recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the Finance Department in Rugby. The candidate will manage a small team, produce quarterly accounts, prepare budgets, and report financials to the Board. Essential qualifications include CIMA or ACCA and at least 3 years of management experience in finance. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools are required. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary for this role.

Benefits

25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays
35-hour working week, Monday to Friday

Qualifications

  • Professionally qualified in finance (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a management finance role.
  • Proficient in financial reporting tools and Microsoft Office.

Overview

Experienced Finance Manager required to work for prestigious Client in Rugby.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a small team of admin staff you will be responsible for the Finance Department, produce quarterly accounts, report financials to the Board, prepare annual budgets and forecasts, provide finance appraisals on new members, oversee IT coordination and oversee annual audit.
Qualifications
  • Ideal candidate will be professionally qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with sound accounting and budgeting knowledge.
  • You will have at least 3 years experience of managing a team in a financial management role, able to prioritise workload and display a flexible approach to work as well as be able to work at times under pressure.
  • You will be proficient in Financial reporting tools as well as have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel at Intermediate level.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills are necessary as well as keen eye for detail and commercially astute.
  • If you have experience of introducing a new Finance system this would be very advantageous.
