Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Finance Manager in London to oversee day-to-day financial activities within the Accounting & Finance department for an Ethical consumer lending FinTech. You will own statutory reporting, FP&A and Lending Operations, working with stakeholders to deliver accurate insights.

Qualifications

• Has an accounting qualification.
• Experience managing core finance activities and financial reporting with controls.
• Exposure to a lender/retail bank/FinTech environment.
• Confident communicating financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance activities to keep records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare regular financial reports that provide a clear view of performance for statutory reporting with FRS 102.
• Oversee financial planning activity and help maintain budgets and FP&A.
• Review financial data, identify key movements and explain findings clearly; explore AI-enabled automation where possible.
• Maintain effective financial controls to support accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide clear financial information; oversee Lending Operations like reconciling loans to accounts and customer flows.
• Improve finance processes to enhance reporting efficiency.
• Ensure finance deadlines are planned and met throughout the reporting cycle.
