Base pay range

Finance Manager | Real Estate / Property | Central London

Simpson Judge has partnered with a real estate firm specialising in the acquisition, development and letting of properties across the UK.

This newly created role will report directly to the Head of Finance, with a dotted line to the founder/Managing Director. The role will be broad across Financial Reporting, Control and FP&A.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings and audits.
• Support cash flow management and working capital optimization.
• Assist in financial modelling and investment appraisals for new property acquisitions or developments.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/CIMA/ACCA) - Newly Qualified up to 1-2 years PQE
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (UK GAAP specifically)
• Experience within Real Estate/Property - either from accounting practice clients or in industry
