Qualifications

• Erfahrung in der Buchhaltung bis zur Trial Balance erforderlich.
• Proaktive, hands-on Herangehensweise mit Problemlösungsfähigkeiten.

Responsibilities

• Verwaltung aller finanziellen Transaktionen und Überwachung von P&L und Bilanz.
• Vorbereitung der Konten bis zur Trial Balance und Verwaltung der Monatsabschlüsse.

Finance Manager

• Salary: 30-35k
• Location: Central Liverpool
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week; open to 4 days per week
• Flexible working patterns & remote working options

You will be supported by a senior management team with a national presence and report to an innovative Managing Director. The role requires a hands-on, commercially focused Finance Manager to support strategic growth.

What is expected?

You will report directly to the Managing Director. This role is ideal for a finance professional seeking progression, offering the chance to make a significant impact.

The main responsibilities include managing all financial transactions, overseeing P&L and balance sheet, preparing accounts to trial balance, managing month-end processes, VAT returns, and daily reconciliations. A proactive, hands-on approach with problem-solving skills is essential, along with the ability to support various business areas.

This is a visible role that will evolve as the business grows and involves working closely with the board of directors.

The position is flexible and available on a full-time or part-time basis with adaptable working arrangements.

What would make you a perfect fit?

• Experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance, managing P&L and balance sheet
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with Xero is advantageous but not essential
