Job summary

NES Fircroft Engineering Services in Knutsford is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a growing technology-focused SME. The role is 20 hours per week with hybrid working and three days on site.

You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, VAT and cash flow, and provide commercial insight to support pricing, profitability and strategic decision-making, while liaising with external accountants. Strong Excel skills and a focus on margins are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior finance roles within an SME environment.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Excel.
• Experience managing payroll, VAT, cash flow, and credit control.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
