Job summary

Liberty Gas Group is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, oversee P&L and balance sheet reporting, and drive financial controls within a fast-paced, growing organisation.

You will partner with operational teams, deliver accurate financial information, and lead a small finance team—providing strategic insights to support commercial objectives and timely decision-making. A qualified accountant with strong audit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading both management and financial accounting functions.
• Experience managing P&L and balance sheets.
• Experience supporting and managing external audits.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with limited supervision.

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of monthly management accounts, profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will be a trusted finance business partner to operational teams across the business, ensuring that financial information is accurate, timely, and supports commercial objectives.
